Sony's new 'Style-Up' E series MP3 walkman
March 10th 2008 22:08
Sure, the Apple iPod still reigns supreme - by quite a margin - in the heavily congested portable MP3 player market but that hasn't stopped the likes of rival companies such as Sony trying to get a stronger foothold or market share in this highly competitive segment.
The Japanese electronic giants has released a new 'Style-up' version of its E-series MP3 walkman with plenty of funky and colourful interchangeable cases to match your equally stylish wardrobe.
The choice of colours at launch are:
Check black
Violet Glitter
Green Camouflage
Honeycomb Orange
Blue Stripe
Blue Dot
Oriental Purple
Pink Flower
Candy Red
Mix White
Available in 1, 2 and 4 GB versions, the new walkman offers 30 hours of playback with just an hour of charging. If you're in a HUGE rush, charging for just 3 minutes with still give you 3 hours of non-stop music.
The new 'Style-up' E-series has just gone on sale in Japan with international sales tipped to begin soon. [sony.com]
