They say laughter is the best medicine - and I suppose the Japanese subscribe to that pearl of wisdom throroughly, as can be seen by these "Get Well Soon" masks. Paediatricians ought to stock up on these funny masks that are bound to elicit giggles from their charges, which could go a long way in alleviating the potential pain and trauma that precedes a major operation. Just be careful where did you wear that mask as you might not want to be responsible for a cardiac arrest at another ward.
There are currently 15 different types of designs to choose - from animals and human snouts to zippers. Apparently you can also customize these masks at an extra cost of course. Pretty near idea eh? Do you think Robin Williams has one of these stacked up at home?
