Elecom mouse reads bar codes

October 26th 2006 06:53
Elecom QR Mouse
Unless you work in a warehouse and managing the flow of inventory, the Elecom QR Mouse probably isn't for you. This unique computer peripheral reads both monochrome and 2D color barcodes, but it is unable to read those barcodes that can be found behind books.

Unfortunately, the Elecom QR Mouse doesn't look as if it will act too kindly on your hand as the ergonomics lean more toward that of a barcode reader instead of a mouse. As a safety measure, Elecom decided to emblazon a huge "Elecom" word on the left hand side of the mouse in case you think you're using a Logitech.
