ASUS Eee Box


The Eee Box is the latest product from the range of ASUS Eee PC range and it aims to replace most of the bulky and boring PCs you see today in a small elegant package while also leaving a small environmental footprint.

Measuring less than 1-litre in size, the Eee Box is powered by an Intel Atom N270 (1.6 GHz) processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, an 80GB hard drive, multi-card reader (SD/SDHC/MS/MS Pro/MMC), 802.11n WiFi and gigabit Ethernet and runs on Microsoft Windows XP Home. The latest WiFi 802.11n wireless standard boasts up to eight times faster connectivity than the previous 802.11b/g wireless.

The Eee Box is made with only earth-friendly materials for reduced CO2 emissions, quiet under operation (26db) and energy-efficient compared to regular sized desktops with up to 90% less power consumption.

Equipped with Express Gate, the Eee Box has a super fast boot up time of less than five seconds which is quicker than the time it would take you to read this sentence!

Available in four colours - White Peony (White), Urban Metropolis (Black), Sweet Pea (Green) and Sakura (Red0 - the release date and price is yet to be announced.[asus.com]
